Baris breaks down yesterday's losses, and MAGA needs to pay attention

He and Mark Mitchell have been saying for the last few weeks that this was not looking good for R's in yesterday's election. Turns out both were absolutely correct.
Summation: the coalition that Trump built up for 2024 feel abandoned by his foreign focus rather than our own domestic economic ones.
Whether we like it or not, this is the truth. While I and many of us see the long term target of these foreign dealings right now IS to secure our domestic economic problems, it doesn't change the perception that they aren't.
This is a good watch, and following Baris is the smart approach.

Sure, but that's not what happened here. Well maybe it was to an extent, but the true problem is that a significant number of Trump supporters are pissed off and think that MAGA is not focused on America First. They either didn't vote or voted blue yesterday.
Close to the end of the video Baris does address that it's all optics, but you can't ignore the optics. He says it doesn't matter if all of this will yield better economic results long term, which it will; what matters are the optics.
He also points out that it's time for MAGA to shrug off the GOPers. They are bringing MAGA down.
