For Those Here Who Hate Trump, Yet Also Claim to Despise the Dem Party Agenda, Tell Me...

....who or what you're looking for. Are you wanting to return to the days of Establishment Republicans like Bush, McCain, Romney, Ryan, McConnell, etc?
Or, is it that you want a political outsider for President who isn't part of the corrupt Political Establishment, but you want it to be somebody other than Trump? If so, who would it be?
Hopefully we can have a substantive conversation about this, because I honestly have no idea what exactly some of you are looking for.

Smaller government. Less government power at the state and local level.
Cutting federal spending at a meaningful level to deal with our debt.
Returning our rights to their former strength and dismantling the Police State.

Why can you only conceptualize politics in terms of politicians?
Policy is what matters.

These are people who care more about decorum, than policy.
Trump could cut their taxes in half, but they would be against it if it meant mean tweets

I want someone who's America first with foreign issues way down the list. America first means not bringing in millions of immigrants legally or allowing illegals to stay. It means fighting crime so that cities and working individuals can thrive and not struggle. It means being responsible and not wasting the tax dollars you took from the people who earned it.

But no national politician has ever delivered those things, from either party.
Trump does a lot of things I like and a lot of things I don't, and doesn't do a lot of things I think he should.
But he's better than any republican president we've had, at least since Reagan and maybe including him.

That's specifically why I asked him why he can only see these things through politicians and not policy.
Politicians suck. Being a groupie to a politician is terrible.

Agreed. I only care about policy.
Politicians, especially at the statewide or national level, are narcissists at best and sociopaths at worst.
You just have to hope it's a sociopath that pretends to agree with issues you are for.

Here you go again, ascribing something to me that is false. I mentioned both policy (Democrat agenda).and the neocon wing of the Republican Party.
Why do you always have to be a condescending a-hole? I gave you an opportunity in this thread to craft your answer any way you chose to do so. But,.as always, making everything personal with another poster is your standard response.

At this point, I don't think you can consider him an outsider though.

You tell us how you would do all that with this Congress and this electorate.
Remember, Trump is holding tight on the government shutdown, the dems have voted against opening up 15 or so times, and Trump apparently STILL gets blamed for it.
How would your eloquence and statesmanship work through that?

I don't hate Trump, I just feel like I haven't gotten what I voted for
He ran as Pat Buchanan and campaigned on great ideas going onto podcasts instead of traditional outlets but has governed like John McCain, continuing Bidens foreign policy and not addressing the frustrations of those of us who want America First

Trump is literally doing all of these things…
And to everyone saying stop focusing on foreign policy - it’s possible to walk and chew gum at the same time. I know that’s a hard concept for some people.

The easiest America First thing Trump could do is end H1B and other foreign work visas. Could do it today. Doesn't need congressional approval. Would be wildly popular especially among the younger voter crowd
If he cant do that how can he do anything else America First?

There is absolutely ZERO difference between people who have TDS and TWS (Trump Worshiping Syndrome) they are the exact same person just on the other side of a coin. Both groups are a bunch of idiots.

A fiscal conservative.
The same thing MAGA members wanted prior to 2016.

I’ve been on here long enough to appreciate the rich irony here.

Maybe you can tell us how your definition of a "fiscal conservative" would first get elected and then actually accomplish anything with this Congress and this Electorate.
