Midterms are going to be an arsekicking for the party in power

As they always are.
The good news is that’s 12 months away and a lot of good can be done between now and then before the Democrats take back the House.
The Supreme Court decision on racial redistricting could level the playing field. We’ll see what happens.

I remember hearing that same thing about Trump leading up to the last Presidential election.

Why does polling say otherwise?

Trump’s first midterms had a blue wave in the House

That is true but the polling leading up to tonight didn’t show this big of a shift.

Well, technically your reply is completely non-responsive to my comment. But to your point anyway, there’s a very significant lack of relevant and necessary context in your statement, which makes it unsuitable for reasonable discussion/debate.

Seriously… Senate is minimum a R +1 pickup. Depending on what the US Supreme Court decides GOP is looking like 220 seat minimum without a favorable opinion out of the courts .
Look at the data my friend not from a heavy D state that registered voters out numbers R votes by anywhere from 800k to 1 million

Like I said there is a chance the Supreme Court levels the playing field with the Louisiana case.

Republicans need to get better with their messaging. there’s so many good things coming out of the Trump administration, but we let the liberals/media control the narrative.
Take immigration, for example. I didn’t see any 2025 Republican candidate embrace Trump’s deportations and tough stance on illegal immigration. I’d rather go down swinging because trying to appear “moderate” clearly doesn’t work.

Blue tsunami incoming.
This administration desperately needs a check on its power.

These aren't midterms, and you can draw no conclusions from this.

The arse kicking will be the administered to naïve and mentally fragile Americans who are still falling for the Dim BS.

Congress currently has the government shut down completely and the federal judiciary thwarts Trump at every turn.
What further checks would you like to see employed?

We are going to get our arse kicked in the midterms.
Massie, Rand and the other elected faggots railroaded the agenda and whipped up the few remaining anti trumpers in the GOP
Then you have the social media goobers like Joe Rogan whining about how awful we treat illegal invaders. Others who wanted to spend months making Epstein the focus of everything and anything, and dont forget, oh lawd Iran will start WW3!!!
Then throw in the muh tariffs boomers who couldnt stomach a week long dip in the S&P 500. The months long Musk debacle also did no favors, especially with H1Bs.
Bunch of fricking morons. Party needs to get purged and reset for 2028 for Vance. Christian Nationalism is how they get the vote turned out.
