absurd slap in the face to anyone with a brain. Their big win over USC I guess. It's not 2004. The lost to everyone above the level of good. Then they pounded a bunch of cripples. Man they cant wait to join a conference now. This is absolutely aburd. For the current bracket a team like Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, anybody with 2 losses in the sec should be in that spot. It's shocking and impossible to explain away. I hate this method.

that may be true but why do they deserve this ranking?

Tennessee would have the same record possibly 1 better with that slate.

It’s November 4th… calm the f down

If they finish 10-2 they deserve to be in CFP. If they finish 9-3, then they wont

In the past if teams that faced other had the same record, the team that won the head to head was ranked higher. It’s wild to see Miami so far behind ND.

I dont believe so and at the very least it should be a close debate with a three loss sec team...They will have beaten no-one except USC, lost to 1 above average team and one great team. and of course no pesky championship game

if LSU played Notre dame's schedule I think they would have the same record as Notre dame except they might could have beaten Miami (I doubt it though)

goes to show the difference in who these schools are playing

Dude Ohio state finished last season with 2 L’s by 4 points to a highly ranked Oregon team and shite Michigan team. Surely if ND lost to more higher rated teams compared to OSU last year they deserve their ranking. Maybe not top ten but def top 12.

Miami has the same record and beat them. ND's big win is USC followed by...NC State? Boise? Arkansas?

Notre Dame, USF, Florida, and FSU are at least as good as group of wins if not better. Along with the H2H.

And I'm someone that has an admitted anti-Mario bias because he is a fraud but I see no reason for ND to be ahead of Miami other than the timing of losses, which is dumb.

They lost to Texas A&M by 1 point and all six of their wins are by double digits. I'd have them slightly lower, but 10 is not a major reach.
