Is Verge and committee putting out deliberate false info to people who normally get correct info, to throw us all off the scent?
I like Philly and quite honestly his threads have been entertaining… the thought of Saban coming was fun no matter how unrealistic.

Every few years on here you get a guy who paraphrases paysite info or plays golf with a low level TAF guy, gets used to the attention, and doesn’t correct people when they start looking at him as some insider. Inevitably, they start running with anything they hear to keep the persona up, and get burned when their golf buddy or the paysite is saying what they think should happen, not what will happen. People with actually knowledge of the process don’t share it with anyone running to a message board.

Come on dude. He said that Saban was heavily interested and they were at the point of talking control and details, which is laughable in and of itself.
