Sexton will of course "look" at the Saban offer even though Nick has no intention of coaching. Nick always let Sexton handle that part of his business. Offers like that can end up resulting in reworks for many of Sexton's clients so he wants it out there as much as possible. I would not be surprised if Sexton encouraged LSU to make an offer. Sexton also did not care for Landry's comments and efforts to mitigate the buyout. Even though BK was Trace Armstrong's client he does not want such to take root.
Aside from enjpying his money and his free time in a way I did not think was possible for Nick, he was not happy about the way Kelly, Franklin and others were let go and has no want to follow. And to quickly rebuild LSU into a Saban team would require more hours than he ever put into a season at 74 years old.
A few insisders hear that he did not immediately reject an offer and have made their Viagra unnecessary for a few days. Meanwhille, Sexton and other agents get ready to count higher commissions.

He never said this about LSU and Kelly.

Sexton is doing his job as an agent to create leverage for his clients and use that to capitalize on big contracts.

Id be this is close to accurate

Sexton is just relaying messages
That’s his job
That’s his job

He is the GOAT of coach agents.

Who is Jimmy Sexton’s agent?

The melting on this board over Saban is delusional at best. And the ones that want him will hate whomever else we hire and continue to be miserable even when we are winning. It’s a vicious cycle

The Saban stuff is ridiculous, but this is retarded.

Except there has been no publicly linking to Nick and the LSU job, just insider smoke on message boards

There is no reason to be worried about this cause LSU would never fire Saban so a buy out is irrelevant

Zero evidence of this

Franklin he may feel like he was unjustly let go due to unreasonable expectations
I’m sure with Kelly he’s heard even more of the stories that we’ve heard behind the scenes of him being checked out and gets why LSU had to GTFO of that deal

If Rick Neuheisel and Alabama boosters who fly helicopters in Birmingham are talking about the fact that he’s been offered the job…3 or 4 years at 80 million to 100 million
It is not retarded. It actually sounds legit that he’s been offered the job.
So until another rumor comes out or an official statement that he turned it down, the possibility exists.

I wish Sexton would buy Louisiana and steam clean away the dumb coonass taint.
Factoring in liabilities you could probably get Louisiana for like 600 bucks.

Second that.....and I can't keep track of all of these inside sources. Didn't realize we had so many folks from this board in the know.
