Anyone who thinks Saban would blow his Bama legacy to return to this dumpster fire - especially after how horribly our fans have treated him over the years after all he did to make LSU relevant again - is an idiot.

1) It wouldn’t blow his Bama legacy. He won 6 titles there.
2) We are far from a dumpster fire
3) The people that mattered to Saban while he was at LSU, never treated him poorly and still matter to him.
So what if he doesn’t become the next head coach. Let people have hope and stop pissing in everyone’s cornflakes.

He is arguably the best college football coach — only some will say Bryant, Wilkinson, or Rockne
Think about it IF he were to win (at minimum) 2 more championships at LSU. That would be 6 at BAMA & 3 at LSU (maybe more)
He would be then THE ONLY coach to win multiple at 2 programs, and possibly could have another field named after him and another statue.
Then, he walks into the sunset proving he’s THE GREATEST with no argument
