Why not combine DST and Standard time?

Move clocks back ahead only 30 minutes then leave it like that all year

I have suggested this very thing for years. People just can’t grasp the concept. When I suggest it I just get blank, puzzled looks!

Make the standard month 30 days all around while you are at it. No more of this 30,31,28, and 29 bullshite either.

This reminds me of India splitting the middle for their time zones. That half hour off is a pain in the arse for international business.

The earth is round. Meaning there is always a place on earth where the sun is in a position that someone would find ideal and others would not. Just allow each state/region to set there time zone and be done with it for 3 years. Allow regions and states to change after 3 years to another time zone but after that, it will take an act of congress.

its almost like thats how it use to be and the first month was March.
This is all done to keep us off balance, the time changing is no different.
