I was shocked walking down our street last night to see 2 homes putting up Christmas trees in their living rooms.
That's just too damn early

Nah fall stuff/thanksgiving for us, took down skellys, left pumpkins and other decor out. Will adjust lights to fall colors or just warm white.

I've got the permanent lights outside, so I have a Thanksgiving theme going currently. In the process of putting up inside Christmas decorations now. We go out of town for Thanksgiving every year, so coming home to the house ready to go for Christmas is nice. I do miss the fall inside decorations, but it is what it is

Yep. The boss came into the office this morning and had the office manager dismantle all the Hallowe'en/fall decor at the lobby and put the Christmas stuff up. Then, perceiving that wasn't sufficient, he turned on the Christmas music at 7:30AM and it has been going all ****ing day long. We are probably going to have to re-write a Christmas song to be "The 52 days of Christmas" at this point.

Is it any wonder I have become a Grinch/Scrooge?

Our tree stays up year round, holiday tree. Whatever is happening that particular month, so it is decorated. Most of the year it is red white and blue with all the military holidays.

I saw a house with a garage Christmas wrap on it this morning. My wife will dig out the tree the day after Thanksgiving.

If she had her way, I would have a christmas tree in my livingroom already.

We are not just going to skip over my favorite holiday. no chance in hell.

Thanksgiving is late this year so we are easing into it early. Christmas is the best holiday so I’m not mad about this

Tis a good thing we do Thanksgiving at my house, otherwise my wife would have this place looking like a freaking winter wonderland the day after Halloween.

I good naturally act mildly exasperated with her Christmas obsession, but it makes her happy and reminds her of her mom who passed a few years ago. When she spent a considerable amount to upgrade Christmas decorations a couple of years ago, I only freaked out a bit. On the outside.

It’s too early right now, but I will say Thanksgiving is late this year.
