The ones that I remember most from when I was a kid were the "Big 4" of Charlie Brown, The Grinch, Frosty, and Rudolph.

The Charlie Brown Halloween and Thanksgiving episodes were also up there.

The networks advertised the hell out of them, and you marked them in the T.V. Guide because if you missed them, well.....tough shite until next year, kid. You looked forward to seeing each one every year, and it was a family event.

Diane Ladd passed away today or yesterday. She was 89 . She was Clark's Mom in Christmas Vacation.
