Wishful thinking. Other gms arent as dumb as Loomis and give up top 100 picks for 6th receivers that are 30 years old…..

Kamara already said he would not go, so you would probably have to send a pick with him just to get a lower pick in return.
You left off Shaheed. Love him as a player, he's just due a new contract at the wrong time.

i've always been a big shaheed fan. i don't know what's going on but a part of me rather keep him long term. I am pissed at his effort last game on shough's deep ball. He gave up, his arm was being held, and he gave no effort to get to the ball or make the PI obvious.

You may not care, but his value dropped tremendously when he came out with his public statement about retiring before playing somewhere else.
I rather keep Shaheed as well but keeping him really depends on what he's asks for. He has been the team's #2 guy or a few years, so will he demand to be paid as a top #2 guy, i.e., Higgins money. Or will he be more realistic in his demands knowing he is only a #2 guy because the team doesn't have a true #1.

There's only a few players that I would not trade
OFFENSE:
QB-T.Shough is cheap potential QB1
S.Rattler is valuable as a backup, but I'd prefer to have a more seasoned vet in that role.
RB-K.Miller & D.Neal are still cheap contributors/potential starters
A.Kamara is giving us literally nothing on the field. If he rather retire than be traded then go ahead & start the paperwork. If he retires then surely some money would come off the books right???
WR-D.Vele is the only I consider not tradeable since we just traded for him and we still have 2 cheap years on his contract.
C.Olave expensive & expendable.
R.Shaheed currently cheap, depends on compensation & potential new contract cost
B.Cooks expensive & expendable
OL-K.Banks, E.McCoy, T.Fuaga are 3 legit starters and A.Richards, L.Fortner, T.Simpkins are 3 quality & cheap depth pieces.
T.Penning is expendable, depends on what a new contract looks like for him but I'd assume it would only be a 1yr prove it type
C.Ruiz expensive & expendable.
TE-F.Moreau & J.Stoll are cheap depth.
J.Johnson is expensive & expendable.
T.Hill is very expensive & we aren't utilizing him at all.
DEFENSE:
DT-B.Bresee, V.Broughton, K.Boyd are cheap starters/contributors
N.Shepherd & D.Godchaux are both expendable
DE-C.Young & C.Granderson are the only edge guys that can pass rush. C.Rumph II is cheap depth
C.Jordan I'd love to see go to a contender
LB-D.Stutsman & I.Stallbird are both cheap contributors with starter potnetial. J.Ford is cheap depth
D.Davis I'd love to see go to a contributor & get cap relief. Father time is showing
P.Werner has hit his ceiling. Serviceable starter/great backup.
DB-K.McKinstry, Q.Riley, J.Sanker are all contributors/starters that are cheap
J.Reid is expensive & expendable, but depends on compensation

Kamara proving that he’s essentially coasting on a team dumb enough to give him a bigger deal at this point in his career.

Just on his base salary, and get to avoid the $3M guaranteed salary due next year

It appears other teams want a fire sale price for Saints players.

IDC what Kamara said. He would change his tune if he landed on a contender. I can't image he's having fun out there

Kamara wants a check and sees the sunset of nascar and swaggy drip
