The airport system is completely f'd right now... Its a 3hr wait time to get through security at Bush Intercontinental this afternoon/night.
No way this is allowed to go on past a couple of days or there will be tar and feathers abound.
It is quite comical though that people are commenting "Trump's America" on the photos. Loons gonna loon.

Airlines should pay for their airports and air traffic control and ticketing and baggage management.

Don't disagree, but can't really do that to alleviate the situation that the D's have put the country in.
Those that have TSA, which I'd bet is 90% of airports, are screwed.

The airlines already came out end of last week and called for this to end. I can only imagine the amount of money they are losing out on now that people are missing flights and cancelling.
Not to mention, it sounds like airline staff is having trouble getting in and out of IAH, delaying flights and airport operations.

Sounds like the D's are holding out until after Tuesday for the VA and PA elections... They are scared if they cave now, the D voters will stay home.

I actually think it ends not this coming week but the next. Democrats don’t want to end before the Virginia election so their democrat government workers vote, thy don’t want it to look like the reason so they won’t vote to open wed-fri. So it will go on until the following week. Has to end before Thanksgiving.

The senate is scheduled in recess November 10-14 (next week), so if nothing passes between Nov 3-7 (coming week) the soonest end is Nov 17th.
