If their GM doesn't trade away most likely two top 5 picks for Derik Queen they could be in great shape to add two stars on rookie contracts.

But, nope. Their owner is lazy and her only concerns in life is going to parties and protecting pedophiles so here the Peiclans are handing Atlanta a top 4 pick in a loaded draft and allowing Indiana to escape their horrible season as well.

By far the worst owner in sports due to complete apathy.

these are dark days, mostly self inflicted wounds. It’s a shame they had a real chance to be something special

It’s not apathy, it’s incompetence. She is in over her head versus some of the best business entrepreneurs on the planet.

True.

A gold digger is not going to be able to replicate the success of the original successful businessman.

I’m not justifying the trade at all because it was idiotic, but the Pacers pick is top 4 protected, so there is a good chance it doesn’t convey this year.

still don't know which team has less hope between the Saints and Pels.

The Pels have less hope because the NFL is a better parity structure. No ping pong ball lotteries, a franchise tag, hard cap, etc.

With the NBA structure even if the Pels luck up and develop someone like CP3 or AD they can’t keep them. There is no hope here with the worst owner and in the bottom 2 cities with Memphis in the league.

I agree but we could have 14 picks in the top five and they’d still frick it up.

pelicans. Badly run NFL teams are still so flush with cash they can self sustain indefinitely. There are no have nots.

Plenty of revenue and other financial disparities though in NBA teams. The pels are in real trouble

they squandered an epic opportunity after AD and they blew it. Hired the wrong guy in griffin and the wrong guy in green. Look at OKC…humming on all cylinders after losing their star(s)
