That includes insurance and city/parish taxes? Looking at a house $1200 month with and extra $350 on ins/taxes. Has 2450 living, 3600 total under roof.

so my question is what is the interest rate on the loan you are getting. payment is your comfort area. is that payment comfortable to you and not a strain on your pocket book

Thanks! I paid the mortgage off years ago when I decided it was time to get out of debt. Sold several thousand shares of stock I'd accumulated over the years and pulled the trigger. Best financial decision I ever made.

I paid off my mortgage in Dec. Before that it was 900 a month. Not sure what taxes and insurance will be.

1,000 sq ft condo, 530/mo mortgage + 220.00 HOA, no PMI, and city/parish taxes are small. Nice place, perfect bachelor pad

The original poster said per month, I hope these are yearly numbers.

There's probably only a tiny handful of residential properties in the entire state of Louisiana that are assessed $108,000 or more per year in property taxes.

ETA, I'm betting none of them are in River Ridge.
