Will Austin Thomas stay?

Maybe his value is overstated, but it seems like a bad time to lose the guy in charge of our NIL program and player acquisition. He was hired as Senior Associate AD by Woodward, not BK. Will he be OK reporting to a new AD from McNeese?

Austin Thomas was better as a team GM without the responsibility of NIL money roster management. He can hit the door out as well as far as I’m concerned,The new broom sweeps clean.

He had $5m roster last year.
Woody capped what recruits could get. Cost us DK Moore and Colin Simmons.

But does anyone know exactly what our GM does?
Does he establish what our players get directly from LSU?
Does he coordinate outside NIL?
Does he evaluate HS recruits? Guys in the portal?
Anything else you know about?

Frank and AT are the two most important people on staff.
Both worked with Kiffin before.
Also Kelvin Bolden is on ATs staff. Kelvin was at Ole Miss for 5 years with Kiffin
