I’ll always treasure the memory of our 2024 gymnastics championship and it was totally worth destroying our football and men’s basketball in exchange. Lifetime memories. Good luck to you sir in your future endeavors!

I thought it was a nice Woodward touch to put BLM banners everywhere and honor George Floyd with the changing of the TS stadium lights.

The best move was completely screwing the kids on the MBB roster by firing Wade right before the tourney. What he did to those players was criminal.

so who would you have hired in late 2021 to be the coach?

And do you think we will hire someone as good of a fundraiser as scott? I dont

And you just gonna gloss over the baseball nattys and womens basketball one im sure.

I’m not going to dunk on SW.

But he had to expect this type of reaction if BK didn’t pan out, given the golden contract he was awarded. And that’s why I don’t share the sympathy of some in the local media.

I’ll say it over and over again that asking this question is pointless. Not our jobs and we don’t have nearly enough info to make a hire.

Thats just not answering the question, there wasnt a good realistic candidate out there.

Woodward got one of the most qualified people in the sport

Weird, considering he hired him then.

Kiffin.

I don’t even want kiffin now at his price but it was the right hire in 2021

Scott was too proud to interview him

Maybe. Maybe not. Many people didn’t even consider BK a possible candidate. That goes back to the fact that people on this board don’t have the information or resources to make that decision.

And it ended up being a shite hire, so I have no problem with him being criticized for it.

Woodward was using his same lazy unimaginative playbook.

He was fired because he was lazy and can’t think outside of his narrow box.

With a $100am checkbook and open spending he could have done better! Just swung and missed on his first couple of choice and got lazy BK

Does the fact that he went out and backed up the truck make him some sort of savant? Is that what makes a good AD?

He reset the market with Jimbo's 100% guaranteed $75m contract. Yes his successor extended it, but it was Scott who wrote the original contract that had never been done before. After that agents and coaches went wild. He added to the madness with Kelly's contract. And now here we are. He has finally been held responsible for his fiduciary sins.

I’ll always have fond memories of LSU football in 2021 under Scott Woodward’s direction of not allowing people into the stadium without showing their vaccination cards.
