Went by a Rouses....looked way less crowded than normal on a first of the month. Didn't see the usual foot traffic by the in-house prepared foods sections.

Looks like it's going to be a tough stretch for some folks.

You went Saturday morning before 10am. It probably looked exactly like it normally does. No one with food stamps would have been shopping at that time. In fact Saturday morning is some of the best time to grocery shop specifically because you don’t have to deal with that.

I don't wish hunger on anyone - especially when it involves American citizens. But I can't help but think this is the result of bad choices - especially as it applies to a significant segment of the black community who have embraced the democrat plantation.

President Trump and the Republicans have refused to cave into democrat demands we provide free healthcare for illegal aliens - and President Trump is not the kind of man who surrenders his position to the demands of crooks.

Even as the democrats stonewall any effort by the Republicans to end the government shutdown President Trump is working furiously to find ways to feed those families formerly on SNAP. Those same SNAP families abandoned by the democrats.

My suggestion? Maybe the SNAP families should join us in flooding Chuck You Schumer's phone lines with demands the democrats end holding hungry American families hostage.

President Trump is right about...........everything.

When the first falls on a weekend don't they usually get their "benefits" on Friday? If so, yesterday would have been the day to look.

It really is incredible isn’t it? I can’t think of one thing Trump hasn’t been right about. He is one of the smartest people in the entire world, and the best president we have ever had.

Great point. But it looked even more normal than usual on a Saturday at 8:30.

Grocery prices should go down for people that actually work. Same supply with less demand.

Basic economics.

You would think so......but retailers will probably come up with some reason why there will be a delayed effect to actually see that happen. Really need to crunch the numbers for several weeks before it shows up in pricing

Huge mistake making prepared foods SNAP eligible. Muh food insecurity, yet they get to eat better than I can afford to.

Yep, without question the greatest President in my lifetime, and I go all the way back to FDR.

He inherited a mess from crooked Joe Biden and his henchmen, but he's clawing us back to prosperity and halting the attacks on individual freedoms.

And with that I make this observation......

Abortion kills babies and destroys nations. Something the UK is coming to realize right now.

There’s no doubt about it. This country is once again prosperous, the economy is red hot and many things have become much more affordable since he got back in office.

We can never let the democrats back in office. Obama came very close to his goal of completely ruining this country.

Well, it’s common sense vs. a cult that thrives on conditioned emotions driven by, no matter what, orange man bad.

I was there yesterday. It was way slow. Checkers are still rude AF though. Guess she didn’t like my American flag hat.

Just got back from a Walmart. Seemed a little less trashy to me. No extra security I could see.

Give it a few days.
