And in today’s age of college football that’s all that matters. You can say Landry ruined it or the golden age is over whatever you want to say, the boosters are basically calling the shots with the money and they have a willingness to spend on salary and NIL and to these coaches who’s egos want championships for their legacy, all they care about is the money. They don’t care about Landry they don’t care about the president of the university, they don’t even really care about the logo on their shirt, all they care about how much NIL can I get to build the biggest and baddest roster. I think some of yall still think this is 2008.

Think you're right....comes down to how much will your boosters spend.

We have a clown governor to thank for this narrative. We all knew this narrative was coming after what Landry embarrassingly bumbled out of his mouth

I don’t really get the narrative they’re pushing either. Saying other schools are better because of very recent short term success is weird.
I understand the “grass isn’t greener anymore in today’s landscape” part, but they’re kind of just saying the best jobs are the ones on teams that are good. Yeah no shite that’s why they’re not open

Landry is a baffoon, but still comes down to the boosters and the dollars they are willing to spend. Landry will be forgotten if we get the right guy.

It won’t matter at the end. If what I heard was true with how much the boosters are will to spend in NIL nothing Landry or anyone on the media says will matter.

I think that what they are saying is that some schools who are traditional not great have already figured out the NIL/transfer portal issue and have a good HC. We have not! That could change though and they are leaving that part out.

Landry is irrelevant. The only thing that matters is money, and who has the most. It’s an arms race plain and simply, pageantry pride and tradition are dead.
You hire mercenaries for a year and roll the dice. You need someone who can manage that dynamic and win right now. Nobody is building a program anymore, you rent your roster for the season.

The entire start of the week was how LSU was the premier opening. And it will be again by December

Bro, have you listened to Little Landry’s direction
No more paying big bucks and buyouts.
We have to watch out for the people.
Bro- time to start cinching the belt

That was some serious spinning. LSU is spending 53 million for a coach to leave yet somewhere like Indiana is such a great place and their boosters are more willing to spend??? Huh??

I can tell you that there are media folks all over this and they’re biased as hell sports media guys who either played for competing schools or have ties to those schools
Chris Doering is one in particular- ex Florida receiver who now works for SEC network. He has been vocal on the show about how stupid Little Landry is. He takes every opportunity to promote that Florida job.
