In the 1940s common US citizens rationed and sacrificed so much for the war effort.... now we have lazy losers who are unwilling to work and their countless offsprint going to starve because they might miss a few weeks of free handouts...
Thanks LBJ and...
2 Thessalonians 3:10: "For even when we were with you, we would give you this command: If anyone is unwilling to work, let him not eat".

People were united in the war effort because everyone really cared for freedom. Even children would save the foil from gum wrappers for the war effort. Women back home had their roles too. Everyone pitched in.

At some point, the Democrats turned charity into entitlement.
They called it The Great Society. However, it had another sinister ulterior motive.

Diversification, in the simplest terms, refers to the process of allocating power in a way that reduces exposure to any one particular voting group. The idea behind this strategy is that a variety of voters will, on average, yield better returns and pose a lower risk than any individual group found within the base.
A diversified base, therefore, includes a variety of different voter types. The goal of diversification is not necessarily to boost performance but rather to protect against the varying cycles of elections.
