Yep. LSU will be hiring a dark horse and this is him. Ryan Silverfield the head coach of the # 25 University of Memphis....and the reason is, his team is leading the powerhouse Rice Owls 28 - 0 with 5 minutes left in the 2nd quarter.

USING SARCASM FONT so chill out. It's Friday evening and time to chill and take break from all the BS of the past few days. Pour a stiff one, hand the kiddies a hand full of Kit Kats when the ring the doorbell and scream T or T and try to get all this LSU coaching search off your mind for a few hours.

And he wouldn't even have to change the mascot...Tiger to Tiger.

Again...my feeble attempt at bringing a bit of humor and chill a week long shite show.

It is not the HC, it is the NIL effect. Vandy, Indiana, Ga Tech are not winning because of their coaches. They got the best players for the money they paid, you paid nearly $3 mil for Nuss, LOL. The main job of the HC coach is now to evaluate and get the most for the NIL money and a lot of lesser known players get paid less and work harder to become famous.

Wait, you think that Vandy, Indiana and Tech aren’t winning because of their coaches. You are fricking retarded hahahaha.

Half the board wanted Tulane’s HC until they got curb stomped last night. This board is as fickle as a teenage girl

So far, the track record of Memphis coaches moving to a P4 conference hasn't worked out all the well for them.

I think I was at that game—was that the one where Carlos Carson went off?

Silverfield is 8-1 with a totally rebuilt team. Something like 70 new players on the roster. Dude has done a helluva job.

LSU could do much worse.

Coach Silverfield's Standards

Silverfield described how he meets with the team on Sunday afternoons to review performance and accountability.

His remarks are also meant to reinforce the culture he wants to establish by emphasizing examples of discipline both on and off the field.

Ryan Silverfield. Career Record: 6 Years, 49-21, .700 Win% (at major schools). Bowl Record: 4 Games, 4-0, 1.000 Win% (at major schools)

Theres plenty of good coaches if youre willing to forgo the splash at the press conference. Id personally go right after Willie Fritz or Jeff Traylor who are basically Sumrall and Silverfield but older and more experienced
