Well Freeman's wife didn't exactly like Baton Rouge when he was being courted for the DC position here.

She’ll like it when she sees the HC contract

If Freeman is our next coach we will enter the dark ages of LSU football. This guy is not the who we need, hell he's not even that good at ND.

Congratulations, you are not overthinking it. Good job

He made the natty last year
And he lost to 2 top 10 teams by a combined 4 points. Give me a break. Who the hell do you want then?

That would be cold-blooded to poach Notre Dame’s coach again!

Freeman is way better than I thought he might be
Playoffs year 1
He will make playoff Year 2
what is it that you don't like about him?
He's too nice? Family man?
I think T bob said he wasn't sinful enough to be LSU's HC... smh

Freudian slip? I think you may have accidentally exposed your r…eason for so adamantly not wanting him.

Why? Who is? And the one we “need” might not be the one we can get. I see everybody pointing out that his wife didn’t seem to like Baton Rouge and didn’t want to live there. Which is fair—I myself thought it made him a non-starter. But she’s been in South Bend for 5 years now. Perhaps she doesn’t care for that environment all that much. Maybe too many folks who think like you.

Jesus Christ. That’s just absurd.
I still have severe doubts he would even consider the job. But he’s young, he’s hungry, he’s been successful at a big time program, he is an expert on one side of the ball, the players seem to love him, he’s professional, seems very high character, a family man, etc…not exactly sure what else you’re looking for. Well, maybe I am, actually.

What a shite take. Username checks out, probably never stepped in a college classroom.

No. Freeman lost to 8-5 Northern Illinois, then had the easiest path to a championship game in CFP history.
If any LSU coach loses to N. Illinois, they’d be gone faster that BK.

Freeman would be a trash hire.
