1 in 8 Americans get some form of SNAP benefit. Based on our demographic trends, it will be closer to 1 in 4 or 5 by the time I'm dead. This country is over. There's no coming back from this kind of fiscal insanity. It is not the role of the federal government to feed its citizens.

It should not be tax payers responsibility to feed other people’s kids. I’m sorry but they are failures as parents. They need to get off their lazy butts and work two or three jobs to feed their own kids. I’m all for helping disabled and elderly but not welfare queens. I worked in the grocery business for 30 years and saw it every day. It’s sickening.
