College Football has become a toxic cesspool of rich people who want to get richer. The boosters and politics now control the game. The NCAA is 90% to blame, while the current state of American political partisanship is the remaining 10%. Larry Ellison should not be buying HS quarterbacks as a Christmas gift to his girlfriend. And Jeff Landry should not be influencing the decisions of who the LSU head football coach is.
Game's gone, take me back to the era where at least the people who understood the game were in charge.

You are either younger than 35, have a poor memory, or nostalgic for an era that didn't actually exist.
The boosters controlled the game 40-50 years ago. It just wasn't out in the open.

Honestly, at this point I don't care about the rules. I just love football. I will watch it regardless.

A knowledge, overcome, move on……. It is what it is so I will shift my expectations and still watch CFB and the Tigers.
