Landry's rant was embarrassing and unnecessary.....Gameday is going to feast in the morning and make this an even bigger mess on a national stage.

Now we are seeing the problem.

ESPN has been the subject of cable, then directv and now YouTube.

College football is dying and I hope it takes woke espn with it.

Disney and Google in a pissing match. Two of the companies I despise the most. Wish they would both burn.

Well I will need to drop YouTube TV and find another provider before the Bama game - if they don't get it sorted out. Does anyone know if ESPN got their stand alone package started yet ? TIA

not true at all. With all the additional schools that are in the hunt now we’re going through a cultural zeitgeist where there’s more interest than ever.

It’s not pure at all but it is hands down the second most popular sport after the NFL and viewership is up 10+% from last year

Y’all do realize that everything that is on YouTube tv is on regular YouTube and you don’t have to pay for it.

Once the boomers go to retirement homes, college football viewership might have a little problem.

You think viewership of college football is up 10% in 2025 from 2024 because of boomers?

You just long for the days of Jefferson Pilot and not being able to watch more than 4 or 5 basketball and baseball games per season.

This has been going on for over a decade. It is not new. Both sides play hardball and hope the other caves due to consumer pressure.

You're literally making shite up based on some narrative you picked up from god knows where. Almost 70% of CFB fans are late teen/young adult male. And they have jobs=money=ad rev.

You really think the SEC gets billions of dollars to cater to a bunch of old fricks who never leave the house?
