LAFD Whistleblowers Destroy Official Narrative on Palisades Fire Cause

According to multiple Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters, crews mopping up the January 1, 2025, Lachman Fire in Pacific Palisades were ordered by a Battalion Chief on January 2 to roll up hoses and leave the scene even though the ground was smoldering and "red hot coals" were found in the area.

The fire continued to smolder and burn in underground root systems, according to federal investigators, until January 7, when strong winds whipped it back up. That blaze came to be known as the Palisades Fire, which decimated an entire community and killed 12 people.

LAFD knew "immediately" that the January 7 fire was a reignition of the Lachman Fire, according to the messages, yet the Incident Commander and other members of LAFD's command staff vehemently denied any link until federal investigators forced their hand in early October.

It’s tough not to be open to the idea that they wanted a fire out there when they leave the reservoir that feed the hydrants empty, order the fire fighters out then refuse to approve permits to rebuild and hand the land to developers.

Who' surprised?

Whomever the officials were who gave these orders needs to be investigated by the Federales indicted along with all co-conspirator for negligent homicide, malicious intent, sabotage, and terrorism.

Negligent homicide is reasonable; the others are foolish. You can’t indict them for malicious intent, sabotage or terrorism without evidence.

Without any official investigation, even the "negligence" charge goes away.

LA City Fire or LA County Fire ? I think Palisades is City Fire.

I saw a report on NewsNation were about 40% of LA City's apparatus were in a repair yard broken down.

Book 'em for ALL on negligence for those fires, Dan-O.

Interesting. In a bad way. Grounds for official grounds for negligence, malfeasance, conspiracy charges, and theft of funds?

Jesus. We saw the fire, we contained the fire, we then left it going.

Stupid cad even knows the small brush burn pile in my yard if left smoldering for days can instantly be reignited in seconds with a rake.

Seasoned firefighters.

Seems on purpose by that supervisor.

Gross negligence doesn't even begin to describe this.

Ahh, so you’re recommending they investigate, not indict, as you wrote.
