They are stupid. He is a really good coach who can get more out of lessor players. He won’t win a natty there, but let’s be honest, no one will. Even the AD doesn’t believe Arkansas will ever compete at the highest level.

Franklin will however build consistency and have winning seasons over there. That is all the hogs are looking for.

They were going to, but it appears VT poached him.

The hogs need to flex their muscle here and pay him. I would say Arkansas is a better job than VT.

Arkansas is a better job than VT. Fayetteville is amazing, Blacksburg is a dump. Arkansas actually has some serious money and Franklin could do well getting donors involved.

Although, I'd hate if he coached there. They'd be a tough game every single year.

Arky has some of the deepest pockets if they are on board with where the program is going. Like money doesn’t run out deep lol

Yep and Franklin would tap into it.

If Indiana can make it to the playoffs, it CAN be done. Even if they are in the SEC. Unlikely, yes, but not impossible.

Arkansas is definitely the better job

But all signs point to VT getting aligned on taking their football program forward, and that is certainly attractive. Having all the resources and upside in the world can be irrelevant if you can't get out of your own way (cough, Florida, cough)

Arkansas already has a guy that's pretty darn good right now. All he needs is a DC. Petrino with a defense = giving the SEC fits.

Are his tenders bigger than our Chicken guy's tenders? Probably so.
