If you could vote for one to remain forever, which one would you choose?

I'm picking Standard time!

Both. I like getting an extra hour with the change in the fall. It outweighs my dislike of losing an hour in the spring. My vote is to keep it as is with changes twice yearly.

This has been tried a few times last century. Every time people didn’t like it and it switched back reasonably soon. Maybe they didn’t give it enough time?

And I was in junior high in1974 last time. Only thing I remember is going to school and its still dark outside.

Who cares?

I’d rather get home in daylight than go to work in dark and get home in dark. Which is how it will be starting next weekend.

I agree 100%. I think it might be useful for people to post their normal work hours with their vote. I can't imagine people that work in the 9-5ish window (and working indoors) preferring standard time but I could be wrong.

Change time once to a half hour between them and be done forever.

Sunrise chart. Pretty cool tool that calculates all standard, all DST, and current mix that we have based on your location.

Definitely DST.
I second getting home while there is still daylight and not having to get up as early to get to the deer stand.

It's dumb the way it is.
DST should be during the Winter so that it's not pitch dark at 5 O'clock.
Standard Time should be during the Summer when days are already long aka we don't need daylight 8 P.M.
