Regardless of where he goes, or doesnt go, Lane and Jimmy are about to change the market... 12 mil? 13mil? 14mil?

Keep that in mind, because once his new contract lands, that will be the basis for which all other contracts are compared (unless he stays put in Mississippi because they have the weird 4 year rule)

A coach who wants the most money is not what LSU should hire.

Kiffin wouldn’t be half as desirable if he looked like Josh heupel

Im not saying we should, im just telling you what's going to happen

Kiffin is going to reset the market, so be prepared for that possibility

It’s ridiculous

Schools need to stop “paying” without incentives

Facts lol

Most UF fans want Kiffin due to the Spurrier visor vibe. Just seems like a good fit.
There are many offensive minds out there just as good

Good, the next school can pay him that. LSU won't. LSU needs to focus on incentives for wins. High upside contracts. Low guarantee.

Worse case, make Ole Miss empty the bank!

Make it hurt!

Exactly the point

Look, they're all rep'd by Sexton... he's allowed to create his own bidding war where he wins regardless

That's the reality... empty the pockets of other programs, make bank, and stay as far under the radar as possible

The ugly underbelly is ugly, but the reality is the reality until someone changes the game... and unfortunately, Jimmy Sexton runs the game

The market is already there. Kirby is over $13MM and Day is over $12MM. Brian Kelly at $10MM was the 8th highest paid coach in the country this year.

Dillingham is 25th at $7.4MM

Its not Kiffin who is changing the market, he's just going to be a beneficiary of it. When jobs like LSU, florida, Ohio St, Texas, Bama, Michigan come open it is market setting jobs. If say Arkansas, S Carolina, TCU were your 3 top jobs available you wouldn't see a market reset necessarily.
