Meanwhile Nvidia, Palantir, AMD CEO's were all on CNBC today saying how Artificial Intelligence will create jobs, not kill jobs.

Yeah, that's why companies are spending 100's of Billions on AI, so they can increase their labor costs.

If you lost your job to a robot were you working that hard to begin with? They could never teach a robot how to weld

I know one of the companies you listed has added jobs as part of their AI expansion goals. Something like 10% growth in headcount since the end of last year.

I'd have to know exactly what was said by the company to know if they were being sincere or duplicitous.

The billionaires figured out they don’t need human workers anymore, so they’ll buy the political class to protect themselves while the working class starves.

Tell me that you're clueless about AI without telling me that you're clueless about AI

Don’t twist their words to fit your narrative. I promise you they did not say “ai will create jobs for amazon and ups”. Nothing about these cuts changes their asserted point.

Some of the UPS layoffs are because of the UPS labor union.

quote:

Part-time workers: The starting hourly wage was immediately raised to $21 and will increase to $23 by the end of the contract. Existing part-time workers also received hourly longevity raises.

Full-time drivers: Experienced full-time drivers will see their top average hourly rate increase to $49 by the end of the contract.

I mean that shite is unsustainable. Agreeing to that makes no sense.

This is the answer. Why do you need to put up with common folk who you’ve basically enslaved in your debt and monetary system when you can have robots and AI? This shite is about to get fun.

Id be willing to bet there is already a robot that can weld

If not, of course they can teach a robot to weld.

Probably not in the top 500 things that are hard to teach a robot.

The should tread very carefully. Times like this often cause workers to put aside their political differences and focus on the very wealthy
