Hate to be off topic but in normal times, I would think this would be a very hot subject to talk about. Anyone who might respond will obviously disagree with most of them after say the first 4 or 5 but here goes...ranked in order:

1) Delane CB
2) Haulcy S
3) Moore C
4) Chadwick P
5) Cooley S
6 Brown WR
7) Gooden DT
8) Payton DE
9) Pyburn DE
10) Butler DE
11) Thompson G
12) Sharp TE
13) Anderson WR
14) Van Buren QB* (ranked by contribution due to lack of playing time)
15) Hill WR
16) Green TE
17) Mitchell DT
18) Jackson CB

I hadn't really thought that much about it until I started this post, but IMO right behind the OL disappointments has got to be the DL disappointments. They weren't that bad against the RB runs but never did any kind of contain on the QB runs nor were they great at rushing the passer. I think they had sacks against the Little Sisters of the Poor teams but when they faced the big boy teams, there were QBs ordering extra mustard on their hot dogs as they scanned the field.

Top end of the defensive additions were home runs, solid depth for the rest

Hard to gauge most of the offensive additions because of how much of a cluster frick it’s been on that side of the ball

Bauer Sharp/Nic Anderson feel like busts though

Most have contributed a lot. Wish we would've gotten a tackle or another guard

Nic Anderson looks like a total bust…we’ll see if dumping Sloan’s dumb arse helps him or Bauer look less like flops though

DB - Transfers have been money.

DL - I think the guys on DL have been pretty good. Gooden has played well and may still be recovering from his bruised collarbone. I think Payton and Pyburn have also played well. We’ve had issues losing contain at times but it seems like some of this stems from miscommunications on blitzes. None of them have been monsters or anything, but I don’t think any of the transfer starters have been bad either.

OL - Moore has been good. Thompson less so, but those 2 are the least of our problems on OL currently.

WR - I think this group has been disappointing, but I don’t know how anyone can really say whether that’s because of the WR’s, the scheme, or the QB play at this point.

TE - Probably the most disappointing group.

I think overall it’s been a really good transfer class. Maybe I’m crazy. But whatever deficiencies you can find are more than offset by the impact of Haulcy and Delane IMO. You aren’t going to hit on every single transfer. The biggest issue is not having another guard or tackle in the class.. but that’s just as much a criticism of the development of the guys we already had on the roster.

I don’t think it’s fair to call Anderson a bust.

You have an O-line that can’t block, an offensive coordinator who can’t develop a route tree unless it’s three yards behind the LOS and a QB who can’t throw it,

Need a consistent QB to make that call.

You could at least hang on to the football when it does come your way though.

The transfers were better than the mainstays.

12 of these guys have been important additions for the 2025 LSU team. I'd say 9 of those 12 have been good football players. Sharp has been bad in my opinion, Barion and Anderson have not had much opportunity to shine.

Maybe not but true playmakers generally find a way, look at some of our other stud WRs that still put up nunbers in bad offenses
