Does the new head coach retain Blake Baker and Corey Raymond? What are your thoughts?

I think both have done a great job. Defense only looks bad cause they're on the field 80% of the game and Weeks is hurt which doesn't allow us to use Perkins as we'd like to.

Corey Raymond should absolutely be retained.

Would be idiotic to let the same mistake happen twice

It depends on the specialty of the new HC

I think the new head coach should be allowed to evaluate and decide on his staff himself and sink or swim based on his decisions.

I'd definitely keep Raymond.

Depends on entirely on who the new guys is.

An offensive minded guy probably keeps baker, for example.

I do know that a particular out of town 5 star DB recruit speaks highly of him.

He also likes Patrick Surtain, Sr. At Florida State.

The recruit says that Raymond is the best in the business though so I’d like to see us retain him.

You are impressed by Baker? Dude can't stop a running QB in the last 3 years and also has the highest paid defensive coaching staff in the country.

Less than impressed for how much money waa spent on not only coaches but also NIL.

No he needs to clean house including Raymond and Baker. All connection to Kelly needs to be gone.

I think Raymond will be retained for sure.

As far as baker it will be up to the new coach.

Most recruits say that about him, as do former players. Because he quite literally is the best in the business at coaching DBs

That's when I knew Brian kelly was an idiot.

He brought In an analyst in Kerry cooks and fired raymond.

Why are you yelling?

I think Frank is probably the safest bet to return.

Of the 2 you mention, Corey would be the better bet because he's a position coach.

If LSU hires Eli Drinkwitz from Missouri, Baker is a lock to stay and probably the rest of the defensive staff

I'm expecting your 2nd post in 2041

New HC will bring his own people with him unless they decline. New HC will then resort to plan B and start interviewing others for the available coaching positions.

As an example, "IF" LK was hired, he would likely bring Pete Golding with him as the DC. Then Baker would be looking for another job
