I'm guessing Sherburne may be the closest
... 45 min - 1 hour drive / 45 miles. Others will chime in with their suggestions

You can also use the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Firearm Range. The APSO allows the public to use the shooting range on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m. for sighting in rifles or target practice. It's a nice range, but only if you can take an afternoon off from work.

Drive in from Hwy 190 on the North end unless you want to drive 20 minutes down a gravel road.

No matter what side of the debate a person is on they should always stop by either Billy's or Kartchner's if they go to Sherburne.

I would go to Bowies or Facebook Market and buy a bow like a grown man would do.

Easy answer as I've shot at almost all the ranges mentioned. Roaming Shot is the answer. Iberville would be my second pick. I'm a member at Roaming Shot so if you need help booking a time or something let me know and I'll help.

You can go to an indoor 25 yard range in a pinch. Depending on your round you can sight in .75 to 1” low at 25 yards. My .308 168 gr is dead in at 100. You can check the ballistics to for ammo and should give you an idea.

The Sherburne range is likely the closest but not the best. I suspect that the Pearl River WMA range is only an extra 10-15 minutes more drive time. It is a much better option -- safe because it is staffed, targets and carriers available onsite, and well maintained.
