IMO he sounds like a slightly upgraded sumrall. Probably a backup plan if things fall through with the top 3 or 4 guys

I like him. Young, hungry, & offensive-minded. That being said I doubt he gets a serious look.

i think if you like Sunrall you should like Golesg.
OC at Tenn in 2021 and 2022 when they were 7th and 1st in poke scored. those offense ripped.
He took over a 1-11 USF and got them to 7-6. They were 4-26 the 3 years before he got there and he won 7 games…

Very High on him and think we should give him a serious look if we’re gonna go the up & comer route.

I think he’s a good coach. He’s done a great job at USF. People forget how bad that program had gotten before he arrived.
That said, I would have some hesitation about that Briles offense’s ability to win championships. It seems like it tops out at major bowls, but it hasn’t been tried at a program as good as LSU.
