What would yalls opinion be on Michael Van Buren as starter, considering how he did when he was Put in on Saturday vs a&m?

Given that he has legs that aren't attached to cinderblocks and the ability to throw more than 10 yards downfield, I'm for it.

Hard to judge vs a prevent defense in garbage time. But, he did scramble for a first down or two which is absolutely necessary in today's game.

I'd give him a shot for sure.

I hope so.

He’s got two weeks to prep w the 1s, not much film on him, he can help mask our bad OL w his mobility, bama is also bad against mobile qbs.

We got nothing to lose at this point going into the last 4 games. I’m all in on the MVB train.

Wouldn't it be some shite if MVB is the starter and we beat Bama in their own stadium?

Nuss will start. Hope MVB will be implemented into the game and not go in because he has to.

Kelly was a dumbass for not playing him more while Garrett was hurt.

Nussmeier should have sat latech and southeastern. He should be lighting it up.

Glad those coaches are gone.

Start Nuss but the first time he gets up limping replace him. Either he’s injured or he’s not.

The first throw he made frustrated the hell out of me. We haven't seen a ball thrown over the middle with much velocity all year and he does it on his first SEC snap in an LSU uniform. We've been needing that for a month. I really wonder if MVB could have saved BK's job for a little while. I think he could've beaten Ole Miss.

I’m willing to admit as a fan that I would have a really hard time benching Nuss, all things considered, if it was my call.

I know fans are super flippant and don’t consider the broader picture when saying this stuff but I just can’t get there.

It would be such a sour thing for him and the program that doesn’t have that much of an upside.

Any QB except #18 as he is not fun to watch even when LSU wins.

Does he cry on the sidelines like our other guy?

He started at Georgia, at Texas and at Tennessee last year. He wouldn’t be scared of the lights.

Kinda feel like Nuss deserves a shot with the new (temporary) staff before going to MVB

Let's find out what we have and then we can better attack the portal for a QB based on the info gathered.
