#1 choice would be Kiffin. I'd also be okay with Sumrall given we don't offer him some insane contract. Brady? Not really sure. Franklin? Is he not just the same person as BK who underperforms in big games and would be expecting some huge contract? No thanks

Y’all are too big name obsessed did you not learn from Brian Kelly? Sumrall is universally praised amoung coaching circles, young, hungry and has LA connections. He would be the perfect up and comer higher to bet on

These odds are bad. Joe Brady has said he hates recruiting. James Franklin would be awful

Scott Ballard's brothers played football for Tulane and he graduated undergrad from Tulane. He is on the LSU Board of Supervisors and knows Sumrall extremely well. He is absolutely the front runner here and would do a terrific job as HC for LSU.

Sumrall is intriguing and I’d be excited by that hire. I think it’s the right direction.

Brady would be awesome but I think he’s about as likely to come back to college as Saban is right now.

I don’t want Kiffin. He has never won anything at anyplace he’s been and he’s going to milk this for all he can.

Edit: just realized my autocorrect corrected it to Summerall. Tell me you’re from Louisiana without telling me.

Franklin and Jimbo? Jesus call me when it’s over.

I want a head coach that is currently doing well at a B tier school in a big 4 conference. Take some risk but avoid having to do a hefty contract. The greatest coaches in college football come from somewhere down below.

Jeff Brohm
Brent Key
Clark Lea

Guys like that

Sumrall would be after that to me

Kiffin would be fun, but you're looking at 13 mill per year, 7 years minimum

I wouldn’t mind Sumrall being the choice. Don’t feel like getting into a bidding war for Kiffin even if he would leave Ole Miss

Joe Brady wouldn’t need to recruit. We buy guys now. He’d be a great hire (at least offensively) if he wanted the gig.

Dan Mullen is going to make some team very happy too for the same reason. If recruiting isn’t a major concern, he can and will thrive.

Vegas is usually right about most things, but they’re more likely to miss on coaching searches than anything else.

Saban and Miles came here at very similar points in their careers.
