My question is hwy does this stuff have to be so 'hush hush' while it's happening?
If everyone knows this guy is fricking off and not doing his job, why do "journalists" keep their mouth's closed until after something is done about it?

Pate got crushed all season because he wasn't sucking off LSU like others in the national media even when it looked promising.

I think it could be as simple as they get locked out of information.
You go trashing the staff and suddenly you don’t get those text messages about recruits, injuries, etc.

You should. Says he loves LSU because the 2019 team put him on the map and he owes us. He lays out that Kelly never respected the job or LSU. frick Woody for being as inept as the last AD

Lack of good sources, risk of defamation lawsuits, risk of loss of access. As a media person responsible for covering LSU, if you lose access to the head coach’s press conferences, you likely lose your job and will have trouble getting hired elsewhere, at least in LA.
Moscona is a great example. Used to say whatever he wanted about Les. At some point during O’s tenure he got press conference access and other access. Then his opinions became more “mainstream”
