Sorry not sorry. All this speculation is kind of funny.

Its going to be Lane Kiffin. We literally only had to match his UF offer. Theres not going to be a coaching search.

You dont fire your HC for 50 mil without this question answered.

I think you’re right but I’m DVing the “decision has already been made” bros that think they know everything before it happens.

Reminds me of the “it was always Brian Kelly” folks.

No one knew we would get blown out at home to A$M

No one knew Kelly and Woodward would get into a tense discussion about firing staff

It happened very quickly

Sometimes things are fresh and you figure out where to go from here kind of deal

We don’t have a president yet

Thus, we have no clue who is going to coach LSU in the future

One thing is certain- this decision is massively important to the entire state

Proceed with wisdom

Better start hoping Ole Miss drops a couple more games or else we may not be able to hire him until January.

While I don't disagree this would be the splashy hire, I wouldn't sleep on either Brady or Kelvin Sheppard.

"Young and energetic" - yes, Lane can still give off that vibe, to a degree, but he's 50.

Sheppard is 37 and Joe Brady is 36.

Hell, I'd try to get them both.

Man there were people on here speculating that the buyout was acquired on Thursday.

I was skeptical, but cmon.

You REALLY believe a 50 million dollar decision was made in 12 hours?

... really?

You believe that they argued over firing Brad Davis and thats why he got fired?

If Brady does not inherit a very good QB, I think he's not all that

Oh I believe Kelly was in hot seat but none us believed they pull the trigger

Is it your belief that Woodward had a plan to remove Kelly this soon?

It’s possible that they’ve been having conversations because they were realizing that we were not going where we needed to go quick enough. It is a year four

And the fan base was not feeling hopeful or or inspired all year long I mean, I think the Clemson win was exciting. I attended that game. I was thinking we were gonna have a special

And then it became painfully obvious that our offense was terrible

That there was something wrong with nussMeyer

And the offensive line couldn’t block

And that our play calling was abysmal

I still don’t understand why we don’t throw the football over the middle anymore. What happened to that?

Everything is to the sideline

Which helps the defense defend

I’m so thankful that Kelly is out I thought he would do better but boy it was bad.

So I don’t know the ins and outs I’m not there. I would just say I’m glad it happened quickly because it was painfully obvious that it needed to happen.

Now whether LSU has their next coach secured, I highly doubt that

Lane Kiffin would be an exciting hire but I’m not convinced . It’s going to be him.

We need a super smart coach, who is very likable…high energy a players coach

I’m also hopeful that NIl is going to get reeled in because we cannot have this pay for play stuff going on much longer…

It’s far more chaotic than the NFL, which is Professional sports. This is supposed to be college athletics.

We must get back to that… or the sports that we love is ruined forever

Joe Brady left partially due to not wanting to recruit and you want him to be a HC? You can't have a HC not wanting to recruit.

It is extremely rare in any search to get your top guy. Its just a fact. While I am hopeful as everyone else its not a done deal.

The GM office does most of that now. HCs are just there for the photo ops.

You don't recruit players with vibe, fast talk and under the table money. You recruit them with actual "dollar for value" money.

Define "much longer", please. Because it is going to be with us forever. You don't have to like it, by the way.
