Speaking of trades: I'd trade ANYBODY on the Pels for Austin Reaves...straight up...

Glad you aren’t the GM.

You are probably right, but this fanbase has seen so much bad basketball and bad personnel decisions that it's rubbed off on them and become a part of their personalities. It seems like everyone wants to go down on the Zion ship again, even though he's clearly not a winning Star to build around in 2026.

We'd be 2-0 if he could shoot free throws in year 7 of his career. People are conveniently ignoring his role in these losses.

22 FTs but SGA is a FT merchant. Lavine had more FGA’s than Reaves but 18 less FTs. I’m sure that was the result of the refs calling a fair and unbiased game.

Reeves is going to decline his option this summer and become a FA. They say that he is seeking 40M+ a year on his next deal. That's a ton of money for what you get back.

I think he's very similar to Murphy, in terms of production. They can both get you 20+ and can shoot a high % on high volume 3s. But weak defenders that can be streaky. I believe both are best suited as 3rd or 4th options on a contending team. Pairing them together might be a fun watch, but I don't think it gets us anywhere..

A VERY similar comparison would be if you compared Reaves to Doncic. There is almost zero similarities between those two...and Murphy. On Doncic...if you compared his #s to Reaves...you would be hard-pressed to find a single stat...where %s are considered, and not just gross #s...where Reaves does NOT outperform Luka.

Reaves just needed an opportunity to show what he could do...and Luka's injury (as usual) and LeBron's "sciatica" (whatever his actual reason is for being out) have opened the door for Reaves. Gonna be interesting when Reaves sees how much he can be paid after this season. Doubt Lakers can justify paying BOTH of them BIG BUCKS. Just too similar...would be a bit redundant. To be honest...I'd take Reaves over Doncic...long term...after considering ALL the factors.

I find it amazing that there are still people around here that think Zion is a "great"...or even a "very good"...player. We've tried to unload this guy for no telling how long...and NOBODY is willing to make any kind of serious offer. THAT should tell all of us...just what EVERYBODY else thinks about our fabulous superstar.
