Per Feldman's report...
Woody demanded BK fire Sloan
BK agreed, and wanted to fire Brad Davis, too
Woody balked and a huge argument ensued, and that was the tipping point that lead to the meetings that ended up with BK being fired.

Woody didn't want Davis fired? Despite having an accomplished Oline coach on staff already (Atkins)

Woody can't be anywhere near this next hire. I don't want Landry or boosters handling it either but Woody has proven to be incapable of making sound football related decisions.

He should have been fired for MBB alone.

I could be wrong, but wasn’t it Woodward and the athletic department that kind of pushed for Kelly to keep Davis on the staff when he was hired?

Davis should have been fired long ago. Not sure why Woodward would continuously stick up for him.

i know why. Who is Woodward's boy and who is his boy talking too is whats up. This is why Davis is being defended. All of this type of bs needs to be removed. Jmo.

Yep, Davis was the only coach Kelly kept. Kelly always had good to great OL’s at ND which always made it feel like Davis was off limits to fire.

If this is true I agree with BK here.

As bad as Sloan was, Davis and the O line were a bigger problem. Davis should he’s been the first fired.

Davis was “forced” on Kelly by Woody. I guess he didn’t want to acknowledge his part in the failure?

The politics are going unnoticed because bk is the outsider no one liked. Bk did screw up hires initially but everyone wanted all these connected pro-louisiana guys for this staff and they got them. But outside of CR who else actually does their job? Frank constantly screws up the RB rotation cortez with wrs brad with OL development. Hell lbs are bakers bread and butter and that unit is the one on the D that's keeps getting targeted.

You said a mouthful. Certain coaches and certain administration go wayyyyyy way back. Certain "cards" are being played that I certainly don't like and that isn't healthy for the program. I don't like donating tons of money just to see bs like this happening. BK himself had it coming but he also didn't get undying loyalty either, facts. It's a circle of people that the "LSU brand" doesn't need. There needs to be changes at all levels including the AD on down. Jmo.

This refutes the other report saying BK said no to firing Sloan
