Basically said he didn’t really pimp LSU much the past 2 years because what he was hearing about Kelly’s work ethic behind the scenes. Was collecting a check and checked out.

Pate said he was insanely lazy, checked out, had people and recruits come into the program that he didn’t even know about bc he wasn’t even around.

It's no secret to anyone around BR that Kelly has been checked out. He saw a massive payday and thought there was no way he could be fired early because of the buyout. Rumors about infedility with his realtor, laziness in recruiting. I blame Woodward for most of this mess we're in.

He didn’t accuse the guy of any crimes, he confirmed what most could tell listening to the press conferences - he delegated heavily and thought that would be enough with the resources available, he was just wrong.
