not to make hot headed, knee jerk, mid season catastrophe HC firings.

We are still struggling with recruiting and fulfilling scholarship depth at most positions from when we did this with coach O. Without the portal we would have been way worse those first two years with Kelly.

Although Saturdays 3rd quarter was one of the worst I’ve logged after 60 years of following LSU football, this reaction, I believe, will be a huge drain on LSU sports.

Sometimes it is better to keep your powder dry for strategic advantage.

But,….here we go again.

No, you don’t throw money at him to keep replacing coordinators, get recruits, and continuously have shite results on the field.

There was no recovering from Saturday.

A&M drug BK all around Tiger Stadium last night.

I am sure BK was culture shocked at the end of the game.

I agree, change LSU QB with Vandy, Ole Miss, or A&M QB and give them Nuss the result is undefeated LSU.

End of the season, again, end of the season when you have leverage, not mid season when you have none, and have cough up the money and lose all the recruiting efforts. They sign in December now.

You would have to be medically diagnosed as retarded to not believe that Kelly should be fired right now.

60 freaking years and you can’t see when it’s blatantly obvious that a change HAS to be made?

Man, that’s pretty wild.

I’m not saying he shouldn’t be let go but not now. And BYW I’m neither and your personal insults expose your weak argument. Let’s see how you feel in December when we sign 8 or 9 recruits.

Like it or not, right now Kelly has the leverage. End of the season, and after signing day, not as much.

You are mistaken. The recruiting landscape changed with NIL. BK has no leverage. He lost the team.

Transfer portal changes this. You wait till after the season and the new recruits can all still leave with a head coach change.

I agree with you. Coaching instability at LSU is what led to the Dark Ages in the 1980s and 1990s at LSU. We’re making the same mistakes all over again.
