I can tell you that stuff has been happening in the LSU Football operations building all day.
As of now, no assistants have been let go, but there is a meeting ongoing and from what I've gathered holed up in this room at the LSU football facility are Scott Woodward, Brian Kelly, Austin Thomas and Frank Wilson. Possibly others (possibly legal counsel) but this is what I've been piecing together.
Its not hard to surmise that they are working on an exit strategy for Kelly that's acceptable to both parties.
Do they get it done today or does it take longer?
If it works out, is the likely scenario that he walks away for a lesser buyout and Frank Wilson becomes interim head coach? Stay tuned!

Boosters prob said no NIL next year if changes aren’t made. Kelly can’t win without NIL anyway so he may as well move on

This makes more sense and is a lot more believable than anything I’ve read on here today. I still don’t believe Kelly will be let go, but if he is I wouldn’t be opposed to Wilson finishing out the year.

If they're really sitting in a room negotiating the buyout, they probably had to wait a few hours just for Kelly's agent to make it to BR.

This is true. But if I was his agent or lawyer, I'd 100% want to be in the room during a multi 8-figure negotiation.
