i think it's an uncomfortable truth for some of you to hear this, but this country was founded as a Christian nation.

You have a straight up socialist with ties to Islamic terrorist groups about to be elected mayor of one of our most important cities culturally and economically. The city which was subject to the largest terror attack on American soil by the way.

You have members of congress openly stating allegiance to other leaders and other countries.

Our very foundations as a nation are under attack from every direction and all i keep hearing are trump bad or stupid libtards. Neither side is blameless here.

If the Kirk situation has taught me anything, we cannot sit back and just let the country keep going down this road. I'm tired of being quiet. I'm not sure what the solution is, but this ain't it right now.

As long as progressive left ideology exists our Republic is in danger.

Well, a secular nation by the DEMs only hates Christians, not Muslims. Don’t fool yourself.

Not to split hairs but if by Christian nation you mean founded by Christians, obviously this is true.

If by Christian nation you mean founded on many of the ideals of Christianity. I would agree.

But it wasn't founded to be Christian. They did want a separation between religion and the government.

Do they go too far with this now? They are now anti Christian in some ways now rather than being neutral.

Liberals going to liberal.

Honestly the importance of new york city is getting less and less.

While neither side is blameless, one side is very much more to blame. Democrats continue to needlessly blow out the spending. They allowed 12 to 15 million people into the country during bidens 4 years. We became a laughing stock internationally because we had a demented person in the white house. We allow 2 adults who beat a juvenile to death serve only 18 and 6 months. And then one has already killed again. Letting crazy guys compete against women. I could go on. The fact is this is 80 percent democrats.

What isn't it? When the democrats are destroying themselves, don't stop them. The optics on independents is bad for the democrats. By continuing pushing fast left stuff the centrists are now in the middle of the republican party.

Trump is remaking global politics and trade deals.

The democrats have basically set themselves on fire. Don't stop them from doing more damage. You just go about fixing what needs to be fixed.

This is what trump is doing.

Well, it has helped us avoid any pogroms.

You may or may not see that as a good thing.

Only the USA and the West is expected to uproot its culture and become “inclusive”. Hell with that, I don’t want the USA to be like the rest of the world, that’s the point.

That isn’t remotely true, the Founding Fathers did not mean, when it is often misquoted the “separation of Church and State”, to be the separation of Church from the government. They meant the separation of state from the Church which had occurred in England under the Church of England. They meant it in a completely different manner

The Founders never envisioned a secular nation at all. They did not support enforced compulsory membership in Christianity, no doubt, but they absolutely envisioned the US remaining committed to Christian values and principles. That isn’t debatable in the least although some try

To me, this issue is not religion, but cultural compatibility in terms of values, work ethic and assimilation.

The problem is that to be NON- Christian does not have to be ANTI-Christian.

I am NON. I am certainly not ANTI.

Too many have the two conflated. I appreciate and share cultural values of Christians. If we share values and cultures we can prosper together. Not fall apart.

The whole “diversity is our strength” narrative never got the scrutiny it really deserved. It represents national and cultural suicide.

All you need to know is this nation was founded and built by white Christians, and there is nowhere in history more non white, non Christians have ever wanted to live while simultaneously professing to you everything wrong with the nation state they will risk their and their children’s lives to be a part of. Their shite lineage couldn’t built it with a 2000 year head start, and in 2000 years it’ll still be a 3rd world shithole wherever they are escaping from.
