I think his point was more of if he had replies with an old Boston Irish working class type response. Not that he was some sort of Boston elite.

I met a guy recently who told me he went to HS with Kelly. Dude had a full on old working class Irish Boston accent. Apparently, HIS biggest gripe (and that of people he grew up with around Boston) about Kelly was how he had abandoned that and sort of "taken on airs" to be something else.

frick Kelly, though, at this point and any of his weasely attempts to get around the disaster he's created.

Yesterday's press conference was way too jovial for someone who's facing playoff elimination this week. I guess that "everybody's pissed off" line lasted for about a day.
