The Adam Schiff criminal probe has stalled, sources say

The federal mortgage fraud investigation against Democratic Sen. Adam Schiff, one of President Donald Trump’s chief political foes, has stalled, according to four people familiar with the investigation.
After months of investigating, the federal prosecutors in Maryland leading the probe have not produced enough evidence to bring charges, these people said.
One of the sources, a federal law enforcement official, said the investigation “came to a standstill.”
Kelly Hayes, the U.S. attorney overseeing the investigation, met with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche earlier this week and asked him how to proceed, according to three people with knowledge of the meeting. The decision out of that meeting was for Hayes to pursue more evidence, and the case remains ongoing, those people said.
“No final decision has been made,” one of the sources said.

They have to have paperwork that shows he listed 2 residences as primary, to begin any investigation.
If they have that paperwork, why is it not enough to charge him?
If I had 2 mortgages during the same period, and both listed the property as my primary residence, I wouldn’t get a grand jury. I’d be charged and prosecuted and I’d get whatever the punishment is for that flavor of fraud.
Some people are above the law.
BTW when you see me post “Nothing will happen”, THIS shite is a terrific example of nothing happening. Now we know investigations mean nothing, grand juries and indictments probably mean nothing. Nothing will happen.

I suspect that evidence such that would convict any Poster on this Forum is sufficient to indict. What has “stalled” is likely the will to convict him of what many their privileged class does.
If DC ends up a smoking ruins I would not think God unjust. The politicos that are not overtly guilty are guilty for not taking a stand against the corruption that is in their plain sight. Disgusting really.
