The rise of MSM, social media? The rise of counter culture? The rise of modern day liberalism? The 60s?

Wearing masks after COVID when it’s been proven they are ineffective. Protesting events, having no idea what they are protesting. Churches bowing down to LGBTQ causes. ETC.

Its easily the weirdest thing about the left to me...at least the really deranged ones. Have one acquaintance who I swear has no personality or interests outside of being liberal/virtue signaling. She does a Facebook live daily ranting about Trump or some gov issue... her profile picture was her at a Shreveport mardi gras parade wearing a giant sign that said "I will help you access abortion services" who the frick is looking for that there?? Purely performative which is dumb but makes sense for shite like a "no kings rally" or whatever....but how do you live life going... oh there's a parade today... how can I make this about politics!

If you don’t post the virtue signal you can’t be friends anymore. Or you might not want to be friends with the person signaling I’m morally superior to you because of what’s on my Facebook profile.
