If something pops off in Venezuela/Colombia… Louisiana is a little danger close no?

Would LA be a primary/initial target? Refineries/ports/etc…

Russia and China do not want to frick around in our hemisphere. This is not Afghanistan or Taiwan where the US has to fight one hand behind its back due to logistics.
This is 1500 miles from our coast in a warm water sea. It would not go well at all for anyone, and any asset size or frick around with the US that close to our mainland.
The US could essentially conquer Venezuela and Columbia in a week if they wanted.
