Like even a bad solution? Has any politician on either side addressed the obvious storm approaching of millions of formally stable and employed citizens finding themselves replaced?

It’s a little concerning that they can’t even come up with some BS to placate people. They don’t talk about it.

If they solve the problem before it happens. Then they won't have anything to campaign on.

My thing is the left is obviously going to hit pay dirt with millions of out of work Americans and all the right can offer up right now is people like Ben Shapiro who are already millionaires saying it’ll be good for businesses.

Okay but what about fricking human beings?

They don't talk about it because they don't give a shite about the working man.
Big Tech purchased their silence with political donations.

I’m pretty sure it’s ‘hold on to your butts’.

Which is light years ahead of the past administration goal of ‘let China lead the way’.

Do you really think a bunch of 70-year-olds have any concept of artificial intelligence?

Yes it will be.

If you are so short sighted not to see what AI will do to the white collar worker(blue collar to a certain extent) then you have the IQ of a turnip.

Well I can imagine various ways it could lead to negative things. That’s why I was asking how. Solutions for worker displacement may be different than solutions for rising energy costs, impacts to the environment, etc.

You mean the same bunch of useless fricks who fully intended, with a little talked about part of the BBB, to take away all existing Fed regulations on AI and ban states from implementing any regulations of their own for a damn decade? Nah......they aren't concerned.

Remember when Kamala was named the AI tsar by Biden as well? A bitch with no intelligence in charge of artificial intelligence.

David Sacks is our new AI tsar. He’s is often on the “all-in podcast”.

I’m not sure how often he speaks about official policy but they are always talking AI and technology.

AI will be the Trojan horse that reigns in socialism into the US. Bank on it. We are about to have really wealthy and really poor. There will be no middle class.

It’s funny that you think the main problem facing us with AI is massive unemployment.

Hopefully that is the actual problem, but AI experts aren’t worried about that.

I guess besides Trump and ICE, has any politician offered a solution for literally any of the problems this country (or world) faces?

We only get solutions offered up to us about fundraising for the next election, not about things that will actually benefit any of us working people.

Universal basic income is floated. That is one of the proposed solutions, though I doubt it would work well or at least as presented
