Victoria's Secret or SI Swimsuit: Which Collapse Was More Avoidable?

Just saw post that apparently the victoria's secret fashion show came back. seemed to pass without anything resembling the attention in the days of old. SI Swimsuit also is nothing like what it used to be.

Way, way back when, in the earliest days of the mailed Victoria's Secret catalogue, they posted some pretty risqué pictures that would have to be warned here.

No different from other "mall" brands. No one is going to pay the mark up when they can just Temu.

Notable that it came back (possibly the Trump effect) & from what I saw there was substantial eye candy

When pushing 60 years old you will be, look as good, you will not.

Don't be a hater - Ashley Graham is very good looking - for that size. Now, that size is between Healthy and Husky on Gabriel Ingesias' scale (Big, Healthy, Husky, Fluffy and DAMMNNN!), but still.

Bish, I am not 180...

I'm somewhat concerned about this one. She apparently has a dog's anus in place of her belly button.

The fluffy one is All Woman. Glorious, even if large.
The other two are dudes.

Jk, don't shoot.
ETA: Fluffy is a great word in this context.

Both suffered from the end of the 80s/90s supermodel crop.
I don't know if it was the body positivity movement or what, but when Cindy Crawford, Kathy Ireland, Stephanie Seymour, Tyra Banks, etc. aged out there really wasn't a group ready to take over.
I think that is why both moved to featuring celebrities/athletes because they needed something to get eyes on the product, and the group of fashion models available wasn't going to be the draw anymore.
