Cedar Vale-Dexter 88
Oswego 86
Oswego had a running back who scored ten touchdowns. Cedar Vale-Dexter had a running back who scored six touchdowns. Cedar Vale scored a touchdown with 13 seconds left and made a two point conversion to take a two point lead. Oswego completed a pass to the ten yard line and had time for one more play. They ran a power sweep that got Mike Jonesed inches from the goal line to end the game.

That’s not a football game. That’s a track meet.

West Texas 6 man football routinely puts up those kinds of scores. I’ve seen games with both teams over 100 points.

True. There is basically no defense and they almost always have similar scores. Those refs run their asses off in those games.

Our crew usually officiates a CVD game every year. They’re combined and they split their home schedule between Cedar Vale and Dexter. We had them in a blowout/halftime game earlier this year. Love officiating those 8-man games in SE Kansas.
